On 16.09.2009 to the public the LED lighting in the tunnel passage Höllberg (Thuringia) was presented. A first brief description of this second Pilot project for the BMVBS LED tunnel lighting

DIN 67524-1 was published on 20.08.2008 as a newly revised standard for lighting in tunnels and underpasses.

First Vertiefungsseminar for tunnel lighting standard DIN 67524-1 was held in Berlin on 16.10.2008:

Due to the large demand in 2010 is a further deepening seminar on DIN 67524-1 stattfinden.Dieses is expected in southern Germany in the first Half are performed. We would be delighted if you send us your interest in this seminar could already tell by a short note. The two-day intensive seminar is aimed at operators, planners and suppliers. In compact lectures discuss five specialists in the field of tunnel lighting all relevant aspects of the new national standard DIN 67524-1. The number of participants is limited to a small group to ensure sufficient time to answer all questions that may arise.

ADAC tunnel test 2009

Sensational result of the eleventh ADAC tunnel test in the context of EuroTAP, the European agenda on tunnel safety:
The 13 tested tubes supplied in the overall standings but positive notes, not once had to pull the red card to the experts. Equal to nine tubes were awarded the title very well, with three cut off well, and even the worst tunnel in this year's test succeeded after all still a Sufficient.
